How to Start and Operate Your Online Business for Free Part 1 of 3

Thousands of people start online businesses every day. I always recommend that these new entrepreneurs begin by using as many free techniques as possible. The reason for this is simple. Over 90% of the businesses that start operation today will not be in operating a year from now. That’s right, over 90% of businesses will fail in the first year. Many of these failures are due to high operating expenses. You can increase your chances of success if you minimize your expenses in the beginning. Then, as you start to make money, you can upgrade your business to paid services.

1. Start out with free hosting.

There are two ways you can go regarding hosting. If you Read the rest of this entry »

Stop Falling For Get Rich Schemes.

Copyright 2005 Jonathan Cook

YOU’VE SEEN IT ALL!

Whether it’s EBay reselling, Google adwords, affiliate programs,
reselling cd roms, rewriting ebooks or whatever, you’ve probably
seen it or bought it. I suppose I am completely gullible because
I have fallen for pretty much all of them. This month I finally
sat down and decided to take a realistic look at all the pure
crap that’s out there promising to make you rich.

If there’s even a slight chance that you can make money at
somthing, somone will write an ebook and claim that you can make
a bundle at it at home in your undies.

What I found is that every single program I purchased, from the

It’s amazing to see the range of items that are offered for sale in classified advertisements, and perhaps even more amazing to find that online shoppers are actually buying them. But we must remember that almost everything that exists in our world has value to somebody, somewhere.

Take a closer look at what you throw in your Read the rest of this entry »

How you Can Create your Own, Unique Profit-pulling Internet Product Inside One Day

A lot of internet newbies have huge hang-ups about creating their own products – believe it or not, this is one of the easiest parts of the whole process.

Some people will tell you that you don’t need to create your own products to do well in internet marketing. Here’s why creating your own products can actually make you more cash faster than just riding on others coat-tails. One word – Leverage. Imagine you’ve created your own product, and you’re making steady sales (if you researched properly before you started this should be a given). What you can now do is approach other marketers in your niche, who have responsive lists and joint venture with them.

Increasing Profits With Better Sales Copy

“Everything else is overhead if you can’t close the deal.” — Ross Lambert

If I’ve ever coined a phrase worth being quoted, I think that would be it. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve clicked on a link in Adwords only to be taken to an abysmal sales letter; Google, Yahoo, and MSN will happily pocket your pay per click ad money whether you make any sales or not.

I’ve followed internet-based marketing since the dawn of time: I had a technical publishing business on the web way back in early 1996. In the decade since I’ve seen far too many honest, hard-working folks lose a lot of money promoting solid products–including me! Most had to Read the rest of this entry »
